Empowering beauty through art and self-expression

Are you ready to discover the transformative power of makeup artistry?

As a passionate makeup artist and face painter based in North Queensland, I'm dedicated to bringing the beauty of art to life. Makeup is more than just a cosmetic; it's a tool for self-expression. Every day is an opportunity to celebrate your unique self.

With a background of over 18 years in Information Technology, I experienced a significant setback when repetitive strain injuries left me with limited hand function, which initially affected my left hand and eventually progressed to my right. Losing the ability to use my hands and perform simple tasks like picking up a glass of water was a challenging, upsetting and shocking experience that fueled my determination to overcome this adversity.

After countless hours of dedicated rehabilitation, including relearning how to write properly, and restrengthening my hand and arm muscles, I rediscovered my love for art and artistic expression through art therapy. Although I still have ongoing neuropathy with some permanent muscle degeneration, regular hand movements through artistic practices have been instrumental in maintaining my hand function. While my day job in Information Technology often involves repetitive motions, art allows me to explore a wider range of movements, promoting healing and recovery.

Losing hand functionality made me appreciate what I have regained through hard work, and even if I cannot create a 'perfect canvas', it's better than a blank canvas. My art and my work are a reflection of my journey, of my learnings, and a reminder that beauty can emerge from challenges and with this, I want to share my love for art and self-expression with you.

Self-care is essential. So always remember to love, cherish, and prioritize your well-being. There is only one of you out there, and you are your own beautiful creation.
